Sandy Orchard grew up in Oklahoma City, OK. After graduating from high school, she pursued a nursing degree from Point Loma College in San Diego, California, where she later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. After several years of medical work in southern California, she joined Youth With A Mission, where she worked on a medical mission ship. After three years with YWAM, she returned home to Oklahoma where she continued taking frequent short term mission trips around the world. During 2000, she met Lori Basey while working on a joint project in a local homeless rescue mission. In 2005, Lori and Sandy took their first trip to Sierra Leone, which proved to be a life-changing journey. In 2006, after several trips to that west African country, No Boundaries International was born.
