Board of Directors

Dr. Lori Basey, Co-Founder and President
Lori grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 with a degree in Occupational Therapy and in 2004, she received her Doctorate of Ministry. In 1991, she married her husband, Tom. After graduation, she directed a local rehabilitation unit for 10 years. She then established and directed a rehabilitation department at a local homeless shelter. In 1997, she went on her first overseas mission trip—which opened her eyes and her heart to do more work internationally with the desperate of the world. She responded to both the Oklahoma City Murrah bombing as well as the 911 Twin Towers disaster. Through all these experiences, she has been recognized as a leading authority in post-traumatic stress disorder and those suffering from psychosocial dysfunction.
Sandra Orchard, Co-Founder and Secretary
Sandy Orchard grew up in Oklahoma City, OK. After graduating from high school, she pursued a nursing degree from Point Loma College in San Diego, California, where she later graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. After several years of medical work in southern California, she joined Youth With A Mission, where she worked on a medical mission ship. After three years with YWAM, she returned home to Oklahoma where she continued taking frequent short-term mission trips around the world. During 2000, she met Lori Basey while working on a joint project in a local homeless rescue mission. In 2005, Lori and Sandy took their first trip to Sierra Leone, which proved to be a life-changing journey. In 2006, after several trips to that west African country, No Boundaries International was born.
Dr. Jerry Childs, Medical Director
Jerry was raised in a Christian home in a small town outside of Tulsa, OK. As he grew up, the only profession he ever wanted to be involved in was medicine. Early in his career, God led him to go on a medical mission trip and it changed his life. That opened the door to go on even more trips and serve in areas where there was no other medical care available. His heart has expanded to also serve in free medical clinics here in the US aimed at those who have access to little or no medical care. Jerry states, "I believe that to those who are greatly blessed, much is expected and I try to give of my time and talents to further the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ and to bring comfort to those who suffer."
Cynthia Cox, Treasurer
Cynthia was born and raised in Oklahoma City where she later graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in accounting. She then worked for a national public accounting firm where she met her husband, Doug Holsted. After marriage, she then took time off from her accounting career to raise her two children Diana and Christian. In 2007, she and her husband started a public accounting firm in Oklahoma City. She is active at her church on the social justice committee, delivering food for the food pantry and as a speaker.
